The Brivio Sforza Foundation dedicates a welcome concert to Francesco Giovanni Brivio Sforza, born on April 2, 2018. With Francesco's birth, the Brivio Sforza family marks the arrival of the fifth generation in the family residence.

MAJA MIHIĆ

Maja Mihić is a classical concert pianist, chamber musician, and piano professor. As a soloist, she has received high praise from critics for her “intelligent and subtle interpretations of French impressionism.” She is also a member of several active ensembles and is highly sought after as a chamber musician and accompanist. Critics have described her as “a very devoted, delicate, and inspiring collaborator.” Her ability to perform a wide range of styles has been noted as “a musical career of rare versatility.”

Maja Mihić has held numerous solo recitals, performed at several major festivals, and appeared as a soloist with the Arch Strings of San Giorgio and the Stanislav Binički Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed in various live broadcasts on Serbian national television RTS.

Her recent activities include performances with excellent Serbian musicians: Nemanja Stanković (cello), Madlen Stokić Vasiljević (violin), Miloš Nikolić (clarinet), Ivana Dakić (oboe), and Olivera Radmanović (pianist).

NEMANJA STANKOVIĆ

Nemanja Stanković is a renowned Serbian cellist, recognized as one of the most important young artists on the Serbian music scene. Born in Kragujevac, he completed his higher education at the University of Belgrade as the top student, later continuing his training at prestigious European institutions, including the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. He earned his doctorate at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 2015.

He has participated in masterclasses with world-renowned artists and performed as a soloist with many renowned orchestras, collaborating with prestigious conductors. His concert career has taken him to perform in Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa, as well as to participate in major international festivals.

Stanković has received numerous awards and honors, including the Young Artist of the Year title from the magazine Muzika Klasika in 2018 and the City of Belgrade Award for his exceptional musical interpretation.

In addition to his concert career, Stanković served as the principal cellist of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra for eight seasons and has taught at the Faculty of Arts in Niš. In 2022, he was appointed guest principal cellist of the Milan Symphony Orchestra. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chamber Music at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and plays a cello made by Carlos Roberts in 2012 in Cremona.
